Taiwan pregnant woman with H1N1 flu in serious condition

TAIPEI: A pregnant woman infected with A(H1N1) was in serious condition, said the health department of Pingtung County in southern Taiwan Sunday.

The 25-year-old expecting mother has been pregnant for 24 weeks and reported symptoms of flu on August 9, the health department said in a statement to the media.

She suffered unconsciousness on Saturday, the statement said.
