Education, medical services, transportation and government agencies are the major four areas where monopoly prices and violations of fair competition are most frequent, the NDRC said. The NDRC is China's most senior economic planning body. The NDRC said the Chinese government has dealt with illegal earnings that total approximately 780 million yuan (US$114.7 million), and assessed a total of 300 million yuan (US$44.1 million) in fines. |
