China's Ministry of Finance (MOF) has drafted a road map for the country to adopt international accounting standards, and the Ministry will solicit public opinion on the draft at a later time, the Shanghai Securities News said today.

The road map will make clear the principals, content, procedure and timeline for the Chinese accounting standards to follow the international standards "in a comprehensive fashion", said Liu Yuting, director of Accounting Regulatory Department of the MOF.
