Driver bites scalp of officer enforcing parking rule

Updated: 2009-07-04 13:35 A police officer is seeking 190,000 ($27,819) in compensation from a driver in Jiangbei district, Chongqing municipality, who bit his scalp during a parking dispute. The driver surnamed Zhu parked in an area where cars are banned and quarrelled with a policeman named Li Wenwu who ordered him to move. During the argument, Zhu bit Li on his head and tore away part of Li's scalp. On Monday, the court heard the case and Li made a compensation request. The court will issue the judgment later.
