The site of Expo 2010 will be equipped with the world's most advanced electrical system to ensure power supplies during the summer peak, officials said May 27.

A highly efficient power distribution system will cover the site to reduce power consumption of the main Expo structures by about 30 percent.

The system includes a Shanghai World Expo Substation built by Siemens, which will monitor and control all equipment on the Expo site.
