DPRK premier concludes China tour

Updated: 2009-03-21 14:12 BEIJING -- Premier of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Yong Il left here Saturday noon, wrapping up his five-day official goodwill visit to China.
During in Beijing, Kim attended a ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the China-DPRK diplomatic relationship and the premiere of the China-DPRK Friendship Year in 2009. Kim also travelled to eastern China's Shandong Province, where he toured two tourist attractions, the Taishan Mountain in Tai'an and the Confucius Temple in Qufu on Wednesday morning. Kim kicked off his visit on Tuesday at the invitation of Premier Wen Jiabao. |
