DPRK Premier to visit China

Updated: 2009-03-10 17:13 BEIJING -- Premier of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Yong-il will visit China from March 17 to 21, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday. "At the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, DPRK Premier Kim Yong-il will pay an official friendly visit to China from March 17 to 21," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu told the regular press briefing. This will be Kim's first visit to China since becoming DPRK premier in April 2007. |
