A helicopter flies in front of Chinese naval destroyer DDG-169 Wuhan, which is on an escort mission against piracy off Somalia during a night landing exercise on December 28, 2008. The Chinese convoy, including two missile destroyers and a supply vessel, is heading for the Gulf of Aden after sailing through the Strait of Malacca on Monday and is expected to reach the Indian Ocean on Tuesday. During the voyage, members of a special force unit aboard the warships carried out anti-piracy training with a ship-borne helicopter, from which they rappled down onto the deck to simulate landing on hijacked or pirate vessels. The fleet departed from Sanya, south China's Hainan province, on December 26, 2008. [Xinhuanet.com]
