Wen promises support to HK

BEIJING - Premier Wen Jiabao said on Friday that the central government will "take measures" to ensure Hong Kong's financial stability and economic development amid the global financial turmoil.

Wen made the remarks during a meeting here with Donald Tsang, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
