Police admirer detained for repeated false reports

A teenage girl was detained by police in Fujian province for calling them repeatedly to tell the same lie just to gratify her own desires.

Xiao Shan, 17, from Jiangxi province, has the strange hobby of admiring policemen on patrol.

Last Friday, she repeatedly reported that people were fighting somewhere in a village in Jin'an.

When police went to the site, they only found Xiao looking at them instead of finding any dispute.

Police finally discovered she had called from an IC card telephone booth in Jin'an and detained her after she called again that evening.
