Swedish culture minister to attend Beijing Olympics

STOCKHOLM -- Swedish Minister for Culture Lena Adelsohn Liljeroth said on Thursday that she will attend the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympiad.

She told the Swedish news agency TT that her decision to attend the Beijing Olympic Games remained unchanged despite the negative reports about the Games by some Western organizations.
