HK provides emergency relief for flood victims in Nepal

HONG KONG - Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government approved a grant of HK$1.2 million (US$154,000) from the Disaster Relief Fund to Hong Kong Red Cross to undertake relief project for flood victims in Nepal.

The newly approved grant raises Hong Kong's relief to flood victims in South Asia to HK$6.26 million (US$803,000) after its two disbursements in August totaling HK$5.06 million (US$650,000) for emergency relief to flood victims in Bangladesh, India and Nepal.
