A young woman from Jishui, Jiangxi Province, deliberately killed an innocent baby as means of ending her own life.

Huang sneaked into the little baby's home one day last week when the girl's parents were farming in a nearby field. She stabbed the girl several times with a knife and then suffocated her to death by tightly pressing a pillow over her face. Apprehended at the scene, Huang said she wished to pay with her life for the murder as a way to carry out her suicide. Police are further investigating the matter.
