Eleven-year-old Chen Hong-jiao from China's Sichuan province plays
with her doll, received as a gift after arriving at a Hong Kong hospital, August
23, 2006. Chen regained hope this week when a sponsor flew her and her parents,
both farmers, to Hong Kong to remove the growth of a cyst near her spinal cord
which left her unable to walk or go to school since 2003.
