Chinese policemen arrest a kidnapper
who treatened to kill a hostage if his girlfriend refused to see him, in
Xiangfan, central China's Hubei Province, May 12, 2006. The man was overwhelmed
40 minutes after a standoff with the police. The hostage suffered minor injury.
