Woman in custody after slap frenzy

A female taxi driver is in police custody and two policemen are in hospital with head injuries after the woman repeatedly slapped the two more than 40 times in the face over a 15-minute period on Tuesday.

Policemen Wang and Qu stopped the woman and found she had no driver's licence in Changchun, Jilin Province on Tuesday.

The middle-aged woman, Yang, slapped the two policemen because they wanted to detain her, but they did not strike back.
