 U.S. forensic scientist Henry Lee (L) arrives
to view evidence on the shooting of Taiwan leader Chen Shui-bian with
criminal investigation bureau official Hou Yu-ih (R) in Taipei April
9, 2004. Lee, who has worked on high-profile cases such as the O.J.
Simpson murder trial, arrived in Taipei after opposition Kuomintang party
raised suspicions the March 19 shooting on the eve of Chen's re-election
victory had been staged to win sympathy votes and demanded an impartial
