On December 15, 1991, Qinshan Nuclear Power Station was connected to the grid. This station is the first nuclear power station with a 300MW pressurized water reactor which has been designed, constructed, operated and managed by China itself. It is located in Qinshan, Haiyan county, Zhejiang province.
