Celebrities and entertainment industry quickly respond to Tianjin blast

Several companies and organizations have rescheduled or cancelled their activities.

Chinese band TFBOYS also cancelled a meet up with their fans in Beijing. Huayi Brothers Media Group cancelled their press conference for the movie EX-Files 2 to "pray for Tianjin." The company producing the film The Third Way of Love cancelled its press meeting on the spot with apologies to the media.

"After discussing it with the team, we decided to reschedule the press meeting," said one of the movie's stars, actress Liu Yifei. "I think right now we should pay more attention to updates of the accident and show support to Tianjian. We apologize again and thank you all for understanding."
