Madame Tussauds London's PR manager Nicole Fenner said: "Adele is the perfect addition to the music line up here in London. She's one of the world's hottest properties right now and one of our most requested personalities. In fact, we've seen a huge increase in requests for her figure since 'Skyfall' was released and the timing seems perfect to honour her after such phenomenal success with the song.
"She is one of the most influential British female artists and we know she is going to be a huge hit with our guests alongside our other pop greats. We're very excited to welcome her to Madame Tussauds London."
The life-size waxwork of the 'Someone Like You' singer will be revealed in June and is expected to be modelled on her black gown at the 2012 Grammy Awards, where she collected six statues for her best-selling album '21'.

As well as joining Beyonce in Madame Tussauds, the 24-year-old songstress - who has a four-month-old son Angelo with boyfriend Simon Konecki - has hinted she may make a HBO documentary like the 'Love on Top' star.
She said: "I don't know, maybe I'll do a HBO special like Beyonce did!"
