Kim Kardashian was 'in heaven' at wedding
Kim Kardashian's felt like she was "in heaven" at her wedding.
The reality TV star experienced a fairytale ceremony when she tied the knot with basketball player Kris Humphries in front of 440 guests in Montecito, California, last Saturday (20.08.11), and she admits everything was so perfect it felt almost unreal.
She told the new issue of People magazine: "It was like we were in heaven."
Kris, 26, added: "I'm going to remember how perfect it was."
While Kim "felt like a princess" at her lavish wedding at which no expense was spared, she insists the day was as much about the couple celebrating their love for one another as it was about the occasion.
She added: "Glam aside, that wasn't our main goal. It was really about our family and each other."
Kim's mother Kris Jenner played a big part in planning the wedding while her stepfather Brue Jenner gave her away.
Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney were matron and maid of honour, and her nephew, 21-month old Mason, was ring bearer.
Kim, 30, also paid tribute to her late father, lawyer Robert Kardashian, saying in a special tribute during the ceremony: "I so wish my dad could be here today to walk me down the aisle. But I know in a way he is here, and I feel his loving presence all around me. I love and miss you, dad."
During the wedding and reception Kim wore three Vera Wang dresses, and the happy couple had a 10 layer wedding cake from Hansen's Bakery - which at six feet tall towered over Kim.
