Andy Lau in Shanghai to promote newly-open boutique

Andy Lau drew a huge crowd of fans when he appeared at a shopping center in Shanghai on Tuesday for the opening ceremony of a fashion boutique.

Lau, who has been filming director Hark Tsui's martial arts thriller, "Detective Dee", in neighboring Zhejiang Provice, said the film production is going well, aside from the torture of Zhejiang's hot summer weather.

The singer-actor from Hong Kong revealed that his next film will be a project with director Johnnie To. He is also set to release a new album this year.
