Orlando Bloom under investigation
Orlando Bloom
Orlando Bloom is to be investigated by Los Angeles police after crashing a pal's car on Friday morning.
The Pirates of The Caribbean star was driving home after a night out with friends when he collided with a parked Porsche in Hollywood.
Bloom reported the crash to the authorities and was at the scene when they arrived, but paparazzi footage of the accident clearly show the actor walking away.
In video footage that has since appeared on TV news shows, a photographer can be heard urging Bloom to return to the crash site or risk a hit and run charge.
The wise snapper says, "You have to deal with this. Seriously."
Eventually, the shaken actor stops, turns around and walks back to his friend's mangled car.
Cops determined Bloom was not under the influence of drugs or drink when he crashed, but they are looking at the possibility that he committed a hit and run, according to TMZ.com.
Stylist Cher Coulter, one of the two women in the car with Bloom when he crashed, suffered a fractured neck.
The actor, who has been interviewed by cops, claims a paparazzi vehicle cut him off and caused the crash.
