Scarlett Johansson rubbishes Timberlake romance rumors

Actress Scarlett Johansson has denied rumors that she dated singer Justin Timberlake, after reports claimed that the actress broke up the singer's relationship with actress Jessica Biel.

Speaking in an interview to Vogue magazine, the Lost in Translation star said that all she had done, was hang out with the R&B singer several times.

“We had fun together, but it's not like the first time I've ever hung out with him,” she told the magazine.

The 22-year-old added that she has been linked to the Grammy winner because both of them are single and in the ‘spotlight’.

As for the rumors, well Johannson added that it was but natural for people to say imaginary things about a high profile person like Timberlake.

"I think this (rumor) happens because we're both single and in the spotlight, and obviously Justin's a very high-profile person,” she said.
