Pitt eyes Washington DC move

World Entertainment News | Updated: 2006-10-27 10:00
Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are considering setting up home in Washington Dc, away from celebrity-obsessed Los Angeles.

Pitt became the adoptive father of Jolie's adopted children Maddox, five, and Zahara Marley, 21 months, earlier this year and the couple welcomed their first biological child Shiloh Nouvel in May.

The Mr And Mrs Smith co-stars have homes in the Hollywood Hills, England and Cambodia, but are currently residing in India as Jolie films her role in A Mighty Heart.

In an interview with French magazine Cine Tele Revue, Pitt says they are looking at homes in the state capital because "LA is not really a place to raise kids.

"We might move to DC, but nothing is settled."
