Leading companies and professionals awarded for efforts

The 2010 top China outsourcing service providers were recently named at an industry conference in Nanjing, Jiangsu province.

The China Council for International Investment Promotion (CCIP) chose the 10 companies for their achievement in the industry and complied the list from a survey on 110 Chinese outsourcing firms earlier this year.

Even during the recent financial crisis, the 110 respondents reported $3.39 billion in operating revenues for last year, up $800 million from 2008.

They employed 143,000 people in 2009, up 23 percent over the previous year..

The survey said that the companies are mostly involved in services and finance, accounting for 42 and 22 percent of the total, respectively.

Information technology outsourcing contributed more than 70 percent of their combined revenues.

The CCIIP also released the list of 2010's Top 10 global service providers in China as well as 10 entrepreneurs who received People of the Year awards for their contributions to service outsourcing in China.
