Top 10 world's busiest airports
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has been the world's busiest passenger airport for the past 19 years. More than 104 million passengers used its service in 2016, according to the latest preliminary data from the Airports Council International.
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is one of three of the world's busiest airports based in the United States, along with three on the list which are based in China.
The world ranking was based on data from more than 1200 airports worldwide.
The top 10 of the world's busiest passenger airports are as follows:
