Cargo train services launched between China's Shanxi, Kazakhstan
TAIYUAN - Cargo train services began Saturday between Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, and Kazakhstan's Pavlodar.
A train carrying 41 containers left the Zhongding Logistics Park Saturday morning on a trip of 3,705 kilometers.
The cargo train service between Taiyuan and Pavlodar will cut delivery time to seven days.
The Taiyuan-Pavlodar line is the first cargo service from Shanxi to central Asia.
