Dreamliner gets Chinese certification
Certification was granted to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on Thursday, the US aircraft manufacturer said on its Chinese micro blog.
"That means the 787 will be in China soon, very soon" said Marc Allen, president of Boeing China.
Allen said earlier that both China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines will get Boeing 787s before June.
It was reported that 787 aircraft will be delivered to China Southern Airlines, its first Chinese customer, by the end of May. The delivery was originally planned for the end of 2011.
