Online video market ad income rises 82.7%
Advertising income in China's online video market rose 82.7 percent year-on-year to reach 8.83 billion yuan ($1.40 billion) in 2012, according to an Analysys International report.
The report was released on Tuesday by the Beijing-based information service provider.
It found that advertisers are now more open to various modes of commercials, there is increasingly keen competition for overseas copyrights — with domestically produced programs developing even faster — and diversified development of video terminals is helping to increase the use of websites.
Analysys International predicts that data from multiple terminals will be shared in the future. The use of multiple screens will not only help to find advertising methods with better results but also enhance the marketing value of video media.
