BEIJING - China's stocks fell to a one-week low on Friday over concern that the slowdown in the world's second-largest economy might be deeper than expected.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.74 percent, or 17.42 points, to close at 2,333.55. The Shenzhen Component Index closed down one percent, or 99.62 points, to finish at 9,884.96.
