Sinomach's revenue jumps 26% in '11

BEIJING - China National Machinery Industry Corp (Sinomach), the country's leading contractor for international projects, said Wednesday that its revenue rose 26 percent year-on-year to 191 billion yuan ($30.32 billion) in 2011.
Sinomach saw profits increase 17 percent from one year earlier, the company said, without providing specific figures.
Car and financial asset management companies affiliated with Sinomach stayed in good conditions, as these companies' revenues and profits grew by more than 50 percent last year.
The value of the company's newly signed contracts gained 27 percent to hit 48.6 billion yuan, said Xu Jian, general manager of Sinomach.
The company will continue its efforts to explore markets, improve corporate governance and optimize its business structure to ensure sustainable growth, according to Sinomach Chairman Ren Hongbin.
