Mercedes Concept A-Class world premiere

A new generation of luxury compact, the Mercedes concept A-Class makes its world premiere at Shanghai auto show.

The German carmaker said it is presenting a car that "might have come from another planet" - an expressive design that symbolizes concentrated dynamism with future-oriented technology anticipating trends of the automobile industry.

The two-door hatchback is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a dual clutch transmission. It also features a radar-based collision warning system and adaptive brake assist.
