In most people's eyes, Peter Andrew Buffett, second son of one of the wealthiest people in the world, Warren Buffett, was born with a "golden spoon". However, instead of following in his father's footsteps to become an investor, Peter chose to create his own life.

In an interview program produced by China Education Television on Sunday, Peter shared his growing experience with college students from Peking University, Communication University of China and Beijing Electronic Science and Technology Institute.

"I feel an ordinary people and my family lived a simple life", Peter said. "I didn't realize that my father was very rich until I was over twenty years old, as my life didn't change at all. We lived in same the house that my father bought in 1958 with $31,000 and he still lives there now."

Peter, a musician, composer, author and producer told the students that "life is what you make it". "The most valuable thing I got from my father was not financial supports, but his life philosophy of being yourself and creating life", Peter said.

"My brother, sister and I didn't engage in the financial sector, but we inherited the philosophy from our father to work in things we really have a passion in. My brother liked digging holes in our backyard when he was young, so he is a farmer now."

"I, following my passion in music, began my musical career in 1980s and will consistently working on it", said Peter.
