BlueStar opens up its new website

September 1 is BlueStar's 27th anniversary. That means BlueStar's people have been actively involved in China's industrial development at home and abroad for 27 full years. And, in the process, they have brought the world's best practices to China and have persisted in building a first-class chemical enterprise. On this 27th anniversary, BlueStar finds itself at a new starting point and, to show a new face to the world, it has a brand new website (http://www.china-bluestar.com). The website is new because its functions, designs and segments have been improved to make it more international. And its content is both plentiful and precise.

The website design conforms to international standards and shows BlueStar's status in the industry. The homepage has a blue background, which is consistent with the company's image. Its pages use photos to get their message across, while the design conveys a grand feeling, for a pleasant visual experience.

The website's new categories include such topics as "Responsible Care", "Global Network", and "Special". "Responsible Care" is about BlueStar's sense of social responsibility; "Global Network" shows BlueStar's broad reach and strengths; and "Special" describes on BlueStar summer camp programs with a lively design. And there will be even more special reports on major events in the future.

The new website allows for greater interaction with users and has better functions, with more picture news and videos, and an enhanced search engine that broadens the range of key words. There is a multitude of ways users can get the information they want. Not only that, but the website has links to the websites of its subsidiaries and specialty companies, allowing for a swift and convenient visit.

It was built by China Daily, which has one of China's eight key media websites. In this way, the new BlueStar can benefit from China Daily's current Content Delivery Network (CDN) to make overseas visits smoother. In addition, China Daily's English and French experts can help turn the website into a multi-lingual one. At present, the English website is online, and the French one will be ready by the end of the year.
