Trade remedy cases launched by emerging economies against China have increased and the money involved has also grown, analysts said in Economic Information Daily on Friday.
The paper compiled public information from the Ministry of Commerce and found that the number of trade remedy cases between China and other developing countries including Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey and India reached nearly 40 this year, among which 14 were new cases.
Trade protectionism in Europe and the US may rise again because of the debt crisis, analysts warned. China should pay attention to possible trade limits specifically imposed on the nation, they added.
