China revises calendar for economic data releases

China's National Bureau of Statistics is bringing forward its release of a slew of monthly economic data including inflation, factory output and retail sales to the 9th of each month, the agency said in a statement on Thursday.

The figures will be released earlier to avoid data leakage.

According to the new calendar, China will publish June inflation data on Saturday, July 9, instead of July 15 as initially planned.

The July, August, October and November monthly economic indicators will be released on the 9th of the following month.

September's data will be published on 14th of October, according to the new calendar.
