Building firm to rebuild school

Doosan Infracore (China) Co Ltd, a Shandong-based construction machinery business, pledged to rebuild a disaster-afflicted primary school in Changting county, Fujian province, China Philanthropy Times reported.

The school will consist of a two-story classroom building and a dormitory, and the construction is expected to be finished in three years, according to the report. Between 2001 and 2010, Doosan donated 8.65 million yuan ($1.3 million) to the China Youth Development Foundation to build 30 primary schools across the nation, the report said.
