The China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, which will run through Monday, has attracted approximately 1,900 exhibitors from all over the country to showcase their cultural products, ideas, and innovations in the fields of publication, film, music, animation and printing.

The four-day fair, the seventh since its inauguration in 2004, is hosted by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Commerce, with the goal of creating a national platform for cultural exchange and trade and promoting China's cultural industries to the world.

The expo covers an area of 108,000 square meters with eight exhibition halls, one of which debuts as a showcase of China's intangible cultural heritage.
