Chinese shares end mixed at midday - May 13

BEIJING -- Chinese shares closed the morning trade session mixed on Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.06 percent to finish at 2,845.71.

The Shenzhen Component Index went down 0.41 percent to end at 12,022.85.
