Sino-Japanese co-op in recycling use of resources

BEIJING -- Hitachi (China) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Japan-based electrical appliances supplier, has signed an agreement with Dalian Dongda Group Ltd based in Dalian, a coast city of Northeast China's Liaoning province, on strategic cooperation in recycling use of resources, according to company sources.

Under the accord, the two, with a cooperative term of three years, will cooperate in water supply and treatment business, involving infrastructure construction, sea water desalination and environmental protection.

Kokubo Kenichi, general manager of the Hitachi (China) Ltd, said that the Japanese company will provide related technologies and designing services for the partnership.
