WASHINGTON -- The third round of China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue started in Washington D.C. on Monday.
Both sides are expected to exchange opinions on overall, strategic and long-standing issues in the development of China-US relations, as well as international and regional issues of common concern, in order to enhance understanding, strengthen mutual trust and step up cooperation.
The dialogue will be co-chaired by Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Qishan and State Councilor Dai Bingguo, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Treasure Secretary Timothy Geithner from the US side.
