The recall, which is set to begin Tuesday, affects 135 imported XC60 vehicles manufactured between Feb 4, 2009 and Oct 25, 2010, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said in the statement on its website.

The automaker said a faulty installation of a limit stopper in the front seats might increase safety risks for both driver and front-seat passenger during a crash.

Owners can call the company on the hotlines 400-678-1200 or 010-59799616. Manufacturers will repair the faulty system and components at no charge, according to the statement.
