Chinese shares open slightly lower Friday

BEIJING - China's stocks opened slightly lower Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.04 percent to open at 2,602.5 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.15 percent to open at 10,992.76 points.
