BEIJING - China's quality watchdog Wednesday announced a recall of 2,443 trucks equipped with flawed chassis made by Japanese company Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation from Thursday.
Connection errors of the electric circuit on the chassis could disable the tachographs (the vehicle traveling data recorder), according to the statement.
The recall involved mainly transit mixer trucks produced in China.
Owners can contact the company's after-sales service network in China to arrange repair of the flaws.
For more information, owners can call Mitsubishi Fuso's hotline, 021-62194674, or contact the GAQSIQ on 010-59799616.
