Environment: Environment Protection Summit to open

China Energy Strategy and Environmental Protection Summit, hosted by the State Council Development Research Center, would run in Beijing from April 26 to 27.

It would address topics such as energy efficiency, emissions control and sustainable development. It is co-sponsored by 165 State-owned enterprises, 67 multinational companies and 45 financial institutes, including Sinopec, PetroChina and Siemens.
