Shares of Haitong Securities Co, one of China's three publicly traded brokerages, started trading under the company's own name yesterday on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, according to the exchange's Website.

The Shanghai-based brokerage had been trading under the name Shanghai Urban Agro-Business Co, which it took over last month in a "backdoor" listing.
