China Minmetals Corporation, established in 1950, is a large-sized international producing and trading group of metals, minerals and electrical products.

The company is also engaged in finance, real estate, shipping, bidding and tendering and investment. In 1999, Minmetals was listed among the 44 "key enterprises" managed by the Central Government. In 2005, Minmetals' total revenue reached over US $17.78 billion which made it rank No. 11 among China¡¯s top 500 enterprises.
