involves Marine Economic Co-operation, Mainland Economic Co-operation and Mekong
Subregion Co-operation, which are all initiated with the letter M. The Mekong
River runs through China, the Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam.
Geologically, the framework includes the Pan-Beibu Gulf Rim Economic
Co-operational Zone and the Great Mekong River Sub-region as its wings and the
Nanning-Singapore Economic Corridor as its axis.
