The China Center for Business Cooperation and Coordination and the Qingdao municipal government hold a news briefing in Qingdao in East China's Shandong Province for the Fourth APEC Small & Medium Enterprises Technology Conference and Fair (APEC METC) on May 17.

The APEC METC, with the theme of "Technology Boosts Economy and Cooperation Create Future," will be held May 18-20. Important activities will include an international procurement fair, a technology exchange fair and forums on e-commerce and logistics.

All of the 21 members of the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation), more than 1,000 exhibitors both at home and abroad as well as high-ranking executives of over 20 Fortune 500 enterprises are expected to attend the event.
